  1. I checked out the preview and it is very good except that it should be renamed Up and Running With IBM Smartcloud Connections or whatever the branding should be.

On premises Connections has a different basic layout and giving this to our users may confuse them. Maybe you need two versions of this tutorial.

      1. The entire banner bar at the top is totally different, the login screen is totally different. And those were just from the preview. Capabilities may be pretty much the same but that initial basic ui is different. A viewer looking at this and comparing to their in house deployment will see the differences and think that they are using and older version.

Btw, the videos are excellent. This is not a complaint about the videos, just an observation on the differences that can be seen between the cloud and on premises versions that may cause confusion.

  2. Declan, yeah those two are different, and probably different across *all* on premises deployments since customers just go in and customize those anyway with their own colors and layout, etc. I do think that Bruce at some point calls out that not all users will see the same things in the nav bar so we should be covered.
